How to enter “Safe Mode”

If you have been instructed to enter what is known as Windows Safe Mode you can follow these directions.

In order to enter safe mode the first thing you must do is reboot your computer.  If your computer is unresponsive and you are unable to reboot normally, hold your power button down for 6-10 seconds until the computer powers off.  Then power the computer back on.
